What is Full Cycle Recruiting?

Full cycle recruiting also known as end-to-end recruiting refers to the recruiting process in its completeness.

In a nutshell, a full cycle recruitment agency will likely start the recruiting process from zero and end their job after a qualified candidate is on boarded.

Step 01 – Define the Position

The full cycle recruiting process starts by defining the position that requires to be filled. This is often referred to as “identifying the skill gap.” This is the phase in which salary budgets are set and job descriptions are written.

Sourcing Quality Candidates

There are plenty of places recruiters can find candidates, it is in vain to mention just a few. Whether it is a job board or a social platform—to engage with potential candidates or to collect applications and resumes. A standard recruitment agency might also be able to leverage internal databases to source qualified candidates.

Step 02 – Screening Candidates

When outlining the positing that needed to be filled, a recruiter will start narrowing down the candidate pool using criteria, defined. Advanced screening can practically minimize the recruiting workload downstream, and this is also where a good recruiter might rely on smart, current technology facilitating the screening process.

Interviewing Candidate

A full cycle recruiter conducts interviews or works with a hiring manager/the client to conduct interviews after the pool of applicants has been screened.

Step 03 – Extending an Offer

After the final candidate/s is selected, a full cycle recruiter is able to move directly to the offer stage, which might include salary and benefits negotiations, compensation benchmarking, career development planning, and serving as a liaison between the candidate and the company to help coordinate practicable expectations on both sides.

Onboarding

The last but not the least, an actual full cycle recruiter will likely help facilitate the onboarding process.
